Financial Controller – Meath
Our client, a busy FMCG company require a dynamic Financial Controller to head-up the Finance team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage, Supervise and lead the Finance Department.
· Manage Statutory Audits,
· Ensure Internal Compliance requirements are managed and dealt with.
· Overall responsibility for General Ledger functions
· Monitoring and forecasting of company cash flow and planning the working capital requirements.
· Manage Company tax compliance activities, eg RCT, VAT Corporation Tax etc.
· Key contributor of the annual budgeting process and forecasting process
· Management of the HR function of the company.
Reporting
· Preparation, analysis and reporting of full monthly management accounts
· Performance Analysis of monthly results, budget, forecasts, periodic reviews, year end audit etc.
· Monthly review of actual performance against targets.
· Presentation of financial information to key stake holders as required.
· Preparation of local financial statements for Audit submission.
· Liaison with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors, legal, banks, pension advisors and insurance brokers as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience in a medium or large organisation.
· Accountancy qualification essential (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
· The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years ‘post qualification experience in a medium or large organisation
· Experience preferably in the construction area.
· Experience with Sage, Collsoft an advantage
· IT proficiency is essential
